SUMMARY:Destination Creation 6-session Online Course hosted by FS Chamber/Bourbon County E-Community
DESCRIPTION:The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce\, through our Bourbon County E-Community program\, will be offering a 6-session DESTINATION CREATION COURSE.\n\n\n\nThis course is based on the program of Jon Schallert - Destination Business Expert\, and will be facilitated by Mat Casner\, who has been officially trained in this curriculum.\n\n \nAbout the Destination Creation Course\n\nThis is Jon Schallert and let me tell you about the Destination Creation Course.\n\nWe're excited about the Destination Creation Course because we've seen what it can do for independent business owners. We think that the entrepreneurs and owners who are experiencing the chaos of the Covid-19 virus will find that the Destination Creation Course can help them right now: If a business is open and operating\, the principles can be put right into practice. If the business is closed right now\, this course will help them better prepare for consumers returning to their businesses.\n\nRegardless of the situation of the business\, of your community\, or your association\, this class will give businesses tools they don't have now\, and with this year looking more challenging each day\, every business can use this material to grow their sales and customer traffic in the remainder of 2020.\n\nThe Destination Creation Course was an idea that community and association leaders first started asking about 3 years ago. They wanted a shorter version of my Destination BootCamp class\, and they wanted it to be taught in any location\, in rural small towns or urban areas\, anywhere a group of interested business professionals could get together to learn.\n\nWe first previewed a version of the class two years ago to seventy (70) downtown managers and business owners associated with the Texas Main Street Program. And they liked it.\n\nWe then held the first class with facilitators in August\, 2019\, followed by a second class with facilitators in January\, 2020. After both classes\, we made significant changes to the content and structure of the course with input from our facilitators so it now gives business owners the tools they need to succeed.\n\nNow\, the Destination Creation Course is an 8-chapter class that will be packed into 6 sessions\, with a new section on business tactics during the Covid-19 crisis.\n\nHere are the chapter titles:\n\nNew Chapter: Covid-19 Business Survival Tips\n\nChapter 1: Becoming a Destination Business\n\nChapter 2: Your Unique Positioning\n\nChapter 3: Your Leadership Responsibility\n\nChapter 4: Targeting Your Most Profitable Customers\n\nChapter 5: Capturing Consumer and Media Attention\n\nChapter 6: Creating a Customer-Focused Company\n\nChapter 7: Marketing Your Destination Business\n\nChapter 8: Collective Marketing\nCLICK HERE for more information:\n\nhttps://www.successfulindependentbusiness.com/destination-creation-course/
