    Job Description
    KEY Apparel is a clothing company located in Fort Scott, Kansas.  Key’s focus is on work, industrial and  outdoor related apparel.  Key is searching for a Business to Business sales professional to join our team.   The position will entail calling small to medium sized retailers, businesses and government entities with  a consultative sales approach within a designated territory in the US.  The successful candidate must be  able to build relationships and uncover business needs through discovery, fact finding and qualifying  strategies while utilizing a provided customer database.  The successful candidate will also need to be  able to identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities. 

    Successful Candidate Attributes: 
    The successful candidate should be professional and articulate, have positive energy, an ability to  identify new opportunities, have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention  to detail, must be proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel, have an ability to form partnerships with  business partners, outside sales representatives and other key resources in an assigned territory and  must be able to effectively use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified  workload. 

    Key Responsibilities Include: 
     Prior history of sales experience highly preferred with a focus on business to business; 
     Sell into existing accounts through phone sales, e‐mail and in‐person presentations; 
     Identify and develop new accounts through prospecting; 
     Execute an entrepreneurial approach – initiate proactive communication with customers to lay  the groundwork to grow current accounts and nurture prospects into opportunities; 
     Maintain accurate and complete records in the CRM system; 
     Quote prices, manage objections, prepare and negotiate proposals, obtain appropriate  approvals, and provide information to customers regarding terms of sales; 
     Manage time and resources effectively to maximize selling time; 
     Outside travel to accounts will be required.
