SUMMARY:46th Annual Karate Tournament in Pittsburg
DESCRIPTION:The Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg\, Kansas will be hosting their 46th annual karate tournament and seminars on April 28-30\, 2023.  A karate tournament will be held on Saturday\, April 29th at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse in Pittsburg\, Kansas.  This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 150-200 competitors from the Midwest and Canada competing in kata (forms)\, kumite (sparring)\, kobudo (okinawan weapons)\, and batto (Japanese sword).  The tournament begins at 9:30 and is open to the public.
