DESCRIPTION:American Legion Rider's chartering ceremony \n\nSaturday\, November 16. The time will still be at 10 am in Fort Scott's Memorial Hall.  \n\nAs a reminder\, only members of the American Legion\, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion can join the American Legion Riders. Also\, the Rider must also own a motorcycle of at least 250 cc's.  A spouse of the motorcycle owner can also join the Riders. However\, they must be also a member of one of the American Legion family organizations. \n\n \n\nAmerican Legion family members from nearby American Legion Posts are invited to join the Fort Scott American Legion Riders Chapter\, You don't need to be a member of Post 25 to join our Riders Chapter. We welcome all Legion family members into our Riders chapter.\n\n \n\nWho are the American Legion Riders? "As a motorcycle association the Kansas American Legion Riders shall: Promote motorcycle safety while providing a social atmosphere for members of The American Legion family who share common interests in serving veterans\, their communities and motorcycling."\n\n \n\nYou can read more about the Kansas American Legion Riders at http://kansasalr.com/?page_id=171. \n\n \n\nEach American Legion family organization has specific eligibility requirements.
