DESCRIPTION:The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce invites members and guests to a Chamber Coffee\n\nthis Thursday\, November 7th at 8am hosted by the VFW\, 1745 S. National. Ave. Coffee\, juice\,\n\nand light refreshments will be served.\n\n\n\nThe VFW is a nonprofit veteran's service organization comprised of eligible veterans and\n\nmilitary service members from the active\, guard\, and reserve forces. VFW is the largest and\n\noldest war Veteran's service organization\, and they have a long and proven history of providing\n\nvital assistance and support to America's service men and women worldwide.\n\n\n\nSpecial events the VFW has planned for Veterans Day include:\n\n  Starting at 7am\, weather depending\, flags will be placed along East National Ave. and the\n\nNational Cemetery.\n\n  There will be a short Veterans Day ceremony at 10am at the National Cemetery.\n\n  Following the ceremony from 11am to 2pm there will be a free will donation spaghetti\n\nfeed at the VFW hosted by the VFW Auxiliary and all are welcome.\n\n\n\nContact the Chamber of Commerce at (620) 223-3566 for more information.
