SUMMARY:Christmas Parade ~2019 Christmas through the Years!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Christmas Parade in Downtown Fort Scott!\n\n\n\nParade theme:  Christmas Through the Years\, celebrating the culmination of the 100th anniversary of Fort Scott Community College in our community\, with 1941 FSCC graduate Esther Anne Sewell as the Grand Marshal.\n\n\n\nParade will start at 3rd & Main in front of the Carriage House\, and will proceed north on Main to Skubitz Plaza where Santa will exit the parade for the Mayor's Tree Lighting and presentation of gift winners.\n\n\n\nSanta will then be in the back of Papa Don's for pictures and to hear children's Christmas wishes.\n\n\n\nThe Fort Scott High School Thespians will also be doing crafts at Papa Don's following the parade.\n\n\n\nThe Fort Scott Recreation Department will be serving free hot chocolate in front of J & W Sports Shop during the parade.\n\n\n\nEnter for the gift drawings the week prior to the parade at Papa Don's!  \n\n\n\nThe parade will begin at 3rd & Main in front of The Carriage House\, and end at Skubitz Plaza where the lighting of the Mayor's Tree will take place immediately following the parade.
