SUMMARY:Community Book Club
DESCRIPTION:For this next meeting we will read two short stories by Mark Twain that I think are intended to be read hand-in-hand: "Eve's Diary" and "Extracts from Adam's Diary". Below are links to a site where you can read them online for free. (Let me know if you would like to host.)\n\n\n \nEve's Diary\n\nExtracts from Adam's Diary\n\n \n\n \n\nHere are the books that you can look forward to reading in the coming months. We will take a vote next week on which books to read\, and the order we should read them.\n\n\n	A Mickey Spillane detective mystery (to be selected by Darlene). Side note\, March would have been his 100th birthday!\n	Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath\, by Mimi Alford\n	The Great Alone: A Novel\, by Kristen Hannah\n	She's Not There\, by Jennifer Finney Boylan\n	Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI\, by David Grann\n	A Gaylord Dold book. Mr. Dold primarily called Wichita\, KS\, home\, but he moved to Fort Scott to be close to his ailing mother. He passed away earlier this year\, and his sister has donated many of his books to the Fort Scott Library. If you check out a good one to read\, let us know so we can pick a good one to discuss.\n\n\n \n\nAs a reminder\, we meet on the 3rd Monday of the month.
