DESCRIPTION:Contest Rules:\n\nThis contest is open to any individual or family:\n\n\n	Scarecrows are to be actual 3D scarecrows using found/recycled materials and a T-frame.\n	Scarecrows will be attached to outdoor poles down Main St\, so please use sturdy materials.\n	The Chamber is not responsible for damaged\, lost or stolen items.\n	Scarecrows can be frightening or fun\, but please keep your creations tasteful & family appropriate. \n	Deadline to enter is September 20th (submissions can be made at the gazebo at First & Main on that day between 4:00-5:00 PM). \n	Early submissions may be left at the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce office\, 321 E Wall St.\n\n\nIf you would like your scarecrow returned\, please remove it on November 1st by 3:00 PM or it will be discarded.\n\n \nThis contest is open to all businesses in Bourbon County:\n\n\n	Scarecrows are to be actual 3D scarecrows using found/recycled materials and a frame.\n	Scarecrows need to be displayed outside your business\, so please use sturdy materials.\n	The Chamber is not responsible for damaged\, lost or stolen items.\n	Have your scarecrow represent your business. For example a restaurant might feature a scarecrow wearing an apron.\n	Feel free to make a big\, bold\, and bright full display!\n	A photograph of your outdoor business creation must be emailed to the Chamber by 5:00 PM on September 20th to be entered into the contest. Email: adminassist@fortscott.com \n\n\n \n\nIndividual:\n\n1st: $50 Gift Certificate\n\n2nd: $30 Gift Certificate\n\n3rd: $20 Gift Certificate\n\n\n\nBusiness:\n\nWinner receives one dozen logoed shirts and bragging rights for the entire year!\n\n \n\nBlind judging will be done by a panel of local artists and crafters. All winners will be announced live on Facebook during the Chamber Coffee September 21st at 8:00 AM.
