DESCRIPTION:Fort Scott Area Community Foundation Grant Application Period\n\n\n\nGrant applications accepted through 5pm on August 31st.\n\n\n\nVisit fsacf.com for application link.\n\n\n\nThe Fort Scott Area Community Foundation (FSACF) is now accepting applications for the 2025 General Funds Grant program.  Applications will be accepted through August 31\, 2025.\n\n \n\nThe mission of FSACF is to serve the region by encouraging charitable giving benefiting the common good and improving the quality of life. The Foundation is committed to making a making a meaningful contribution in the areas of civic improvements\, arts and humanities\, health\, education\, human and social services\, and the conservation and preservation of cultural and environmental resources.\n\n\n\nGrant funds are available to local 501(c)(3) public charities\, schools\, government agencies\, and religious institutions.  The Foundation considers proposals based on how they improve the quality of life for residents\, and is particularly interested in projects that are sustainable in the future. Collaborative projects are strongly encouraged.\n\n\n\nIn 2024\, the Foundation awarded $77\,591 to 20 non-profit recipients through its General Funds Grant cycle. Projects in Fort Scott\, Bronson\, Mapleton and Uniontown received past grant funding.  A history of funded projects can be viewed at https://fsacf.com.\n\n\n\nInterested organizations should submit their grant application through the online portal.
