DESCRIPTION:Foster Dairy to host Open House Saturday\n\nThe Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce announces that Foster Dairy will host a public Open House this Saturday\, November 18\, 2017 from 10am to 2pm.  The dairy farm is located at 1037 Highway 39\, approximately 15 minutes southwest of Fort Scott.\n\n\n\nFoster Dairy recently invested greatly in their operation by building a new milking facility and installing state-of-the-art robotic milkers.  The cows voluntarily milk 24 hours a day\, seven days a week\, and the Open House event will be an opportunity for the public to view the new technology at work.\n\n\n\nComplimentary burgers\, brats and hot dogs (sponsored by Producers Co-op of Girard) will be provided as well as cookies and bottled water (sponsored by UMB Bank).  An RSVP for those attending is not required\, but would be appreciated to the Fort Scott Chamber at 620-223-3566 or email information@fortscott.com.
