DESCRIPTION:RAIN OR SHINE - Free Cancer Screening Clinic\n\n\n\nDevon Lodge Masons will host free cancer screenings Saturday\, October 6th during the Care-to-Share Fall Festival. The screening event will take place at the Simmons Farm at 2480 Limestone Road in Fort Scott\, Kansas. Held from 11:00 a.m.   2:00 p.m.\, the event is open to the public and is one of 20 free cancer prevention events the Kansas Masonic Foundation (KMF) is sponsoring across the state in 2018.\n\n\n\nThe KMF conducts the screenings in partnership with the Midwest Cancer Alliance (MCA) - the outreach network of The University of Kansas Cancer Center - and KU Medical Center (KUMC) staff. The event in Fort Scott is being coordinated by Masonic volunteers from Devon Masonic Lodge No. 92 and will include free skin and prostate cancer screenings as well as Screen-to-Save colon cancer home screening kits\, Body Mass Index assessments and breath tests that measure lung exposure to carbon monoxide. \n\n\n\nFor more information on the screening event in Fort Scott\, call Don Wheeler at 620-215-0346.
