DESCRIPTION:Students of Saint Martin's Academy\, 1950 Indian Road\, will be the featured\n\nentertainment at this week's Friday Night Concert. The school currently has a healthy and\n\ngrowing enrollment of boys. The music department is under the direction of Dave Agee\n\nand Daniel Kerr. The lads will perform vocal solos\, duets\, and ensemble numbers plus\n\ninstrumental accompaniment.\n\n\n\n"This lively group of young men will warm your heart with their endearing performances\n\nof folk\, country\, and gospel songs\," concert-series organizer Ralph Carlson said. "In\n\naddition to their musical talent\, these students have proven to be an asset to the\n\ncommunity with their willingness to help out in various areas. We are pleased to\n\nwelcome Saint Martin's Academy back to perform in our downtown pavilion. Bring a\n\nfriend and join us for an enjoyable evening of music."\n\n\n\nThe one-hour concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Park Pavilion at First and Main\n\nstreets. The shows are free and open to the public. Due to limited seating\, attendees are\n\nencouraged to bring lawn chairs. Dave Oas and Jim Butler provide the sound each week.\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, the concert will be moved to the Common Ground\n\nCoffee Co.\, 12 E. Wall Street.\n\n\n\nFriday Night Concerts in the Park\, each Friday May through October.\n\n7 to 8pm\, Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair due to limited seating.\n\nConcerts are held at Heritage Park Pavilion\, 1st & Main\, Downtown Fort Scott unless another location is announced due to inclement weather or other scheduling.\n\nConcerts are sponsored by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce and organized by Ralph Carlson.
