DESCRIPTION:This week's Friday Night Concert will be presented by family trio Kevin and Kathy\n\nWood from Prescott\, and their daughter Leah Maxfield. The program will feature country\n\nand bluegrass gospel. Musician Sandy Hemphill will also join the trio on guitar.\n\n\n\n"The Wood family started singing in church about twenty years ago. Kevin also plays\n\nguitar\," concert-series organizer Ralph Carlson said. "We appreciate the opportunity to\n\npromote our local musicians and provide wholesome concerts for the whole family.\n\nBring a couple of friends and join us a fun evening."\n\n\n\nThe one-hour concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Park Pavilion at First and Main\n\nstreets. The event is free and open to the public. Dave Oas and Jim Butler provide the\n\nsound each week. Due to limited seating\, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, the concert will be moved to The Loading Dock at\n\nCommon Ground Coffee Co.\, 12 E. Wall Street.\n\n\n\nConcerts are sponsored by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce and organized by Ralph Carlson.
