DESCRIPTION:The Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg\, Kansas will be hosting their 47th annual karate tournament and seminars April 26-28\, 2024. A karate tournament will be held on Saturday\, April 27th at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse in Pittsburg\, Kansas. This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 125-150 competitors regionally and throughout the United States competing in kata (forms)\, kumite (sparring)\, kobudo (okinawan weapons)\, and batto (Japanese sword). The tournament begins at 9:30 and is open to the public.
