She asks questions about things to see and do in the state. The first person to answer correctly\, gets a ticket. After about 10 minutes of questions\, the winning ticket is pulled from a hat and that person receives a prize.\n\nSample question?\n\n	Name a town in Kansas with a working soda fountain?\n	Near what town was the only battle of the Civil War fought in Kansas?\n	Name a town in southeast Kansas that hosts a hot-air balloon festival.\n\nDuring the BKRT\, we do two Stumps in each county. We often choose places to draw traffic.\n\nWe set up a table with BKRT information and some Kansas Sampler Foundation swag. People bring lawn chairs or can stand. We're usually in a location around 30 minutes once the Stump starts.\n\n______________________\n\nKANSAS EXPLORERS CLUB MEETING\n\nThe Kansas Explorers Club is a program of the Kansas Sampler Foundation. This is the core group that ensures the BKRT to be successful. On each Sunday of the BKRT at 10 a.m.\, we pick a lesser known place to have our "annual" meeting. About 20-50 attend each year. We meet outside unless the weather is really bad. We talk about their experiences on the BKRT and share other Explorer news. It's kind of a spirited rally\, of sorts. Anyone can attend. We especially like it if the tri-county BKRT leaders attend to thank the Explorers for attending.
