All community members are welcome to participate and give back!\n\n 10:30 a.m.   11:30 a.m.   Documentary Screening\n\nJoin us for a free showing of the PBS documentary "In Remembrance of Martin" in the Ellis Fine Arts Center/Auditorium.\n\nFree and open to the public.\n\n 12:00 p.m.   1:00 p.m.   Lunch & Learn\n\n"The Dockum Drugstore Sit-In"\n\nPresented by Dr. Prisca Barnes\, founder of Storytime Village\, Inc.\n\nLearn the powerful story of Wichita's 1958 sit-in\, led by Black students seeking racial equity and an end to segregation. Discover what happened\, how the protest concluded\, and the long-lasting impact it had on race relations in Wichita and beyond.\n\nFree gumbo lunch\, drinks\, and dessert will be provided (attendees may also bring their own lunch).\n\nPhoto opportunity with "I Stand For" signs provided by the Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes.\n\nAll events are FREE and open to the public.
