SUMMARY:No Sew Fabric Collage Class at The Artificers
DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand: NO SEW FABRIC COLLAGE\n\nWork with textile artist Liberty Worth to give new life and artistic outcomes to old fabric scraps. We will be "painting" (no paint involved) with fabric to create new objects d'art.\n\nThis afternoon class will be a time to really let loose and create something abstract. Taking inspiration from nature and art\, we will be considering art concepts like pattern\, repetition\, balance\, symmetry/asymmetry\, focal points\, and movement to create original works of art.\n\nMorning class attendees are also invited to sign up for this class to either work further on their projects or to try this technique in a wilder and freer way.\n\nWe will be using irons and fusible adhesive to create no-sew "paintings" from fabric.\n\nNo sewing experience needed.\n\nClass Time: February 7th:\n\n3 Hours\, 2pm-5pm\n\nSupply List:\n\nBring yourself\, and maybe a few photos or images of things that are inspiring to you.\n\nA sketchbook and pencil\n\nPair of scissors\n\nHelpful to bring: irons
