DESCRIPTION:Salute to Veterans: Veteran's Day 1800's Grand Ball\n\nDoors open at 6pm\n\nA salute to all veterans begins promptly at 7PM.\n\nThis will be followed by the Grand March to lead of the evening of dancing.\n\n\n\nTo Honor Veterans\, Veterans in Uniform will be admitted for FREE!\n\nDress: 1800's Period Dress Highly Encouraged OR Semi-Formal Party Wear/ Gloves are required and will be available. Long trains\, spike heels\, hobnails/heel-plates\, spurs/swords/side-arms\, pipes/cigars/chewing tobacco\, and liquor are prohibted.\n\nDressing rooms available.\n\n\n\nRefreshments: Sweet and Savory refreshments will be served.\n\n\n\nTickets: General Public - $20 in advance\, $25 at door per person\n\nor two for $30 in advance/$40 at the door\n\nFriends members -$15 in advance\, $20 at the door\n\nChildren 12 & Under/Dance Observers -$5\n\n\n\nAll proceeds to to the Friends of the Fort Scot National Historic Site.\n\n\n\nTickets will be available at the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce and the Country Cupboard in Fort Scott or by mail (see info below).\n\n\n\nA Free Dance Class will be held on Saturday\, November 11\, from 10-1 in the Grand Hall on the grounds of Fort Scott NHS.
