SUMMARY:Weaving 101 at the Artificers
DESCRIPTION:Weaving 101 (students choose fiber and color)\n\nUsing Rigid Heddle looms\, students will create a cotton table runner or an alpaca scarf. Looms will be pre-warped and ready to weave. Students will gain a basic understanding of weaving including maintaining consistent selvedges\, splicing\, changing color and finishing. We will discuss design options including plaid\, clasped weft and determining stripe widths. 4 hours\, 4-6 students\, $60 per student for Cotton\, $75 per student for Alpaca.
