DESCRIPTION:Wreath Retirement Ceremony\n\nWreaths Across America\n\nUS National Cemetery No. 1\n\n10am\n\n\n\nVolunteers needed and welcome!  If possible\, bring pickups to load wreaths for transfer to the dumpsters.\n\n\n\nPlans for retirement of wreaths at Fort Scott National Cemetery have been confirmed for January 16\, 2025\, beginning at 10 AM. Volunteers to pick up wreaths are needed\, along with small flatbed trailers or pickup trucks for hauling. The wreaths that were placed on December 14\, 2024\, under the direction of Wreaths Across America\, will be removed and hauled to dumpsters at the cemetery. Even if you can only donate 30 minutes or an hour to help\, it will be appreciated\, according to Diann Tucker\, Location Coordinator. Our annual wreath event is not complete until this job is finished also.
