The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce invites employers, managers, HR professionals, nonprofit leaders, and business owners to a Chamber Lunch & Learn featuring the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division on Wednesday, June 17, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Empress Event Center in Downtown Fort Scott.
Learn about overtime rules, employee classifications, recordkeeping requirements, youth employment protections, and other important labor law topics directly from a U.S. Department of Labor representative. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
Registration is now open at FortScott.com or by calling the Chamber at 620-223-3566. The deadline to register for lunch is Monday, June 15 at 1 p.m.
This Chamber Lunch & Learn is presented by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Davis Accounting and Labconco.
