This is for Grits to Glory by Joe Johnston. Reminder that it is Sunday, and not our usual Monday.
The event to meet Joe Johnston is at 2 p.m. at the Bushwhacker Museum in Nevada, the address is 212 W. Walnut — that’s where the door is — you enter and then you go downstairs to the museum itself where the program will be.
It starts at 2 p.m.
To get to 212 W. Walnut, as you’re coming in turn left at Ash (the stop light before McDonalds) and then it’s not the first street on the right but the second — that’s Walnut — turn right on that street and it is in that first block off ash.
There will be food after — ham biscuits, cheesy grits, grit balls, pecan tassies and coconut cake
