MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Core Community is thrilled to announce this fundraising event, PraiseFest! This is in partnership with the City of Fort Scott and will be on October 24th!!!! TASHA LAYTON, who has had three #1 singles on Christian radio, will be coming to Fort Scott! This is a family friendly, all day event in Gunn Park meant to bring families and community together to raise funds for Bourbon County Core Community and help those in our community who are working to move out of poverty.
It will be a day filled with fun activities like disc golf, corn hole, a fishing derby, Tri-Yak-A-Thon, a fun area for kids to play, and much more! There will be vendors, food trucks, and booths in the park meant to make it a blast for everyone! We will fill the stage with local Christian artists, testimonials, and speakers all before Tasha Layton takes the stage!

Entrance into the event will be by wristband. These will be available for $10 each (kids 5 and under free) in advance at the Chamber office or onsite the day of the event!
Events that require pre-registration:
* Registration for these events includes a wristband for the event participant to the Tasha Layton concert. Additional wristbands may be purchased on the registration link for $10.
- Tri-Yak-A-Thon (Run, Kayak, Bike Race) as an individual or team of 2 or 3 (provide shirt size when registering)
- Disc Golf Round
- Corn Hole Tourney
