Corporate Safety Director for the Monarch Cement Company
Doug Sommers assumed the role of Corporate Safety Director for The Monarch Cement Company in February 2014. Doug has spent almost his entire career working as a safety professional and is well versed in both OSHA and MSHA regulations. Doug's previous employers include Lehigh Hanson in Texas and Ritchie Corporation in Wichita. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University.
