COUNTY MEDIAN WAGES COMPARISON 2025 VS. 2024

Employers that participate in any of the Kansas Department of Commerce programs below, wages paid must meet or exceed the county's median wage, among other requirements included on the links.

The new county median wages went into into effect on July 1^st as our wage standard/requirement for the following programs.  The shaded counties represent the six metro counties. 
 

• PEAK – Promoting Employment Across Kansas:  Promoting Employment Across Kansas (PEAK)
• KIT – Kansas Industrial Training:  Kansas Industrial Training (KIT)
• KIR – Kansas Industrial Retraining:  Kansas Industrial Retraining (KIR)
