Production Lead - Plastics Divison

Summary/Objective
The Production Lead will grow business through building relationships with the divisions team members based
on honesty, integrity and trust by training members, providing swift and appropriate solutions to issues as they
may arise and aiding as needed while fully supporting management objectives. Must love and seek
opportunity to improve and grow every day, while working in a team environment to achieve outlined goals.
The Production Lead must be a mechanically inclined individual with strong troubleshooting skills and enjoy the
challenge of using their mechanical skills to improve production processes and speed. Must be a strong leader
that understands the best ways to encourage and empower members to achieve their very best.
Essential Functions
1. Self-starter and motivator
2. Support management fully

4. Lead members on the path of our production, quality, and cultural goals.
5. Train and educate members
6. Understand ticket specs and clarify specs if needed including verifying artwork, checking
numbering, colors and material.
7. Achieving speed objectives to process orders quickly leading to sales volume growth
8. Analyzing processes to determine the most efficient way
9. Perform within and help create the desired work environment and culture
10. Strive for 100% customer satisfaction
11. Maintain set quality standards
12. Meet customer needs for turn times of products.
13. Learn and understand all materials, and production processes
14. Learn and understand the best set-up of each piece of equipment.
15. Learn and understand the mechanics of each piece of equipment.
16. Create plans to keep the equipment running at most efficient form.

6. Ability to read and understand a PO and ticket
7. Ability to accurately fill out a timesheet and RMI, including turning in completed tags.

9. Use of professional language and good judgment when interacting with others
10. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information and ideas to varying levels in our
organization and groups of all sizes
11. Ability to learn, understand and train members on proprietary machines and programs
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position operates in a team production setting. Environment is team based with a do whatever it takes
attitude supporting everyone like family by empowering one another to succeed and remain focused on set
goals.
Physical Demands
Most daily functions are completed in a production setting where lifting and continuous movement is required.
Members are to use OSHA training for safety when applicable.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, day shift ranging from
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; hours to be determined by supervisor based on team needs. The employee must be
available to complete the job as required. Overtime may be necessary after normal business hours or on the
weekend.
Travel
No travel is needed for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
