About the Chamber

The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization serving Fort Scott and Bourbon County with a focus on being a supporting the success of our members including businesses, agri-businesses, non-profit organizations, and  individuals who belong to support the work of the Chamber and be engaged in the community.  

The Chamber strives to be a valuable resource in many ways including referrals of members, supplying relocation packets, housing options, event information and promotion of job opportunities.

Nearly 400 members support the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce which organizes activities throughout the year for networking and learning including weekly Chamber Coffees, Business After-hours, Lunch & Learn Workshops, Quarterly Downtown Meet & Greets, LEAD Bourbon County, Legislative Update Coffees and Candidate Forums, Groundbreakings and Ribbon Cuttings, parades and other events.
