• Bike Share Program

    Fort Scott started a Bike Share program June 2018 - 10 yellow bikes are available for community members and visitors to take and ride!  

    Bikes are available for free check out from the following hub locations:
    Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB, 231 E. Wall St., 620-223-3566
    Fort Scott Community College, 2108 S. Horton St., 620-223-2700
    Sleep Inn & Suites Hotel, 302 E. Wall St.., 620-223-2555
    Courtland Hotel, 121 E. 1st St., 620-223-0098

    Riders must be at least 12 years of age to ride.  If under 18 a parent/guardian must sign the waiver form.
    Hub location will take a copy of driver's license upon bike check-out.

  • Bikes for the program were purchased through a Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthy Pathways grant in coordination with the Healthy Bourbon County Action Team.
