• Sales Support & KEY Retail Merchandising Coordinator

    KEY Apparel is a clothing company located in Fort Scott, Kansas. Key’s focus is on work, industrial and outdoor related apparel. Key is looking for a Sales Support and KEY Retail merchandising Coordinator.  Sales Support is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service in the support of the Sales management and customers for KEY Apparel. The role includes prompt response to prospective leads, customer questions, planning/attending conferences, customer presentations, and sales personnel requests. Monitor all aspects of the sales support efforts to ensure appropriate and timely communication, documentation, and problem resolution for customers and sales staff. In addition to the sales support role the position will handle retail partner’s KEY floor shop setups. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Ensuring timely internal and external reports to keep upper management and sales personnel informed
    • Monitoring monthly expense reports from field sales representatives
    • Creating and maintaining all segmented mailing and email lists
    • Inputting customer data into company software programs such as HubSpot and MailChimp/Klaviyo to maintain list hygiene
    • Removal and editing of lists not limited to customer requests for removal or additions.
    • Preparing materials, notebooks, and reports for meetings
    • Tracking and processing product sample requests from field sales team
    • Answering incoming phone calls and performing outbound sales follow up calls
    • Assisting with lead follow-up and support of outside and transactional reps
    • Assist marketing team in planning, coordinating, and processing of marketing assets to support revenue generation
    • Backup for K4B website maintenance needs that need to be fulfilled such as but not limited toproduct setup, creating coupon codes, and store setups
    • Preparing and facilitating direct mailings
    • Providing administrative support to KEY Apparel Sales Management
    • Preparing and sending weekly mailing and e-mail sales support updates to sales
    • Completing bids, proposals, formal quotes, and state/school/company adoption listrequirements
    • Assisting sales force with large order coordination, special orders, and special reports
    • Supporting new rep orientation and developing and implementing improvements of salessupport functions
    • Researching, Planning, coordinating, tracking, and shipping all materials for national andtransactional rep shows
    • Attending and work conferences to assist sales team coverage at events
    • Facilitating database management for revenue, budgets/expenses, literature tracking, andconvention materials
    • Fulfilling the role of customer service liaison for accounts
    • Travel to Retail Partner to set KEY Shops per planogram
    • Develop and maintain KEY shop concept planograms
    • Ability to set yearly KEY Warehouse Sale floor per planogram
    • Ability to travel ~ 20-25% of the time

    The Ideal Candidate will have:
    • Experience in sales or customer services
    • Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Customer service focused, collaborative and strong problem-solving skills
    • Highly computer literate ideally experienced in working with a CRM system
    • Strong numerical and accounting skills
    • Experience in working in an office environment
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
    • Merchandising and marketing of retail products in a retail environment
