Requirements
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance that insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life.
• People-oriented
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
• Must possess or be able to obtain Licenses for Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
• Courses on ethical and customer centered sales practices will be required.

Responsibilities
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Use a customer focused, needs based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Position Overview
Kale Nelson State Farm Insurance Agency, located in Fort Scott KS. I am seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join our team. As a State Farm team member for Kale Nelson - State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance. While our focus market area is Bourbon and Linn counties, we are licensed to write business in the entire states of Kansas and Missouri.

• This full-time position is Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 and may include some evening and Saturday hours.
