Water Plant Operator - Full-Time
$15/hr
Shift is: Wed-Saturday 6am-4am
A brief job description/requirements:
Under direct supervision of the Water Production Supervisor, the Water Production Plant Operator I controls treatment plant machines and equipment to purify and clarify water for human consumption and for industrial use by performing the following duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Class I Operator Certification through Kansas Department of Health and Environment is required. Class I Operators are required to have one year of experience plus 13 points acquired through education. Certified Operators must acquire 10 hours of approved training every 2 years. Must have valid driver’s license and meet City’s driving history guidelines.
