City Manager
Is responsible to the City Commission for the proper administration of all City affairs. He coordinates, directs, and reviews the activities of all municipal operations and implements the public policy and governance of Fort Scott as determined by the City Commission.

His Mission:
To continue communications through transparency, integrity, and care.

To provide professional leadership and guidance in the execution of policies and programs established by the City Commission.

To administer and monitor the daily activities and monitor the daily activities of the city government that includes public safety, public works, public utilities, financial operations, human resources, community development, economic development, engineering, recreational activities and related operations.

To foster the effective use of all City assets and a safe work environment for all employees.

To recruit and maintain a skilled work force to handle the daily needs of the general populous to create a clean and safe environment that includes those amenities that produce a sense of pride and a high quality of life throughout the community.
