“A Storybook Christmas” Parade of Lights

Followed by Lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree,

music by St. Mary‘s School Choir, Holiday FIREWORKS,

Pictures with Santa at Be the Light Boutique, 12 N. Main St.

Events taking place BOTH FRIDAY & SATURDAY, Dec. 6th & 7th:

· Downtown Business Christmas Tree Decorating Contest,

View trees in the storefronts & cast your vote @ the Courtland thru Saturday, 10pm

· Historical 50-min. Trolley Tours from the Chamber & Visitor’s Center,

231 E. Wall St., Fri. 11am-2pm, Sat. 10am-2pm on the hour, $6 adults, $4 12 & under

· Downtown Stores Open Late for Shopping, until at least 8pm each night!

· The Artificers 8th Annual Christmas Show, 8 N. National Ave.

Fri. 5-9pm, Sat. 10am-9pm, Sun., 12-5pm

· Nativity Showcase, First United Methodist Church,

301 S. National Ave., Fri. 5-8pm, Sat. 10am-2pm, view unique nativities on display!

· Pictures with Santa, Be the Light Boutique, 12 N. Main St.,

· Live Nativity by Bethel Church, 1st St. & Scott Ave., 5:30-8:30pm each night,

Each set lasts 15 minutes, on the half hour, last set at 8pm

· Holiday Market Booths & Festival Information Booth, Wall & Main St.,

Friday 6-10pm, Saturday 12-10pm

· Carriage Rides departing from the Depot, 1 S. Scott Ave.

6-10pm each night, pre-registration required on fortscott.com, $40/carriage for up to 4 people.

· Firepits with S’mores on Skubitz Plaza, 6-10pm each night

· 43rd Annual Candlelight Tours, Fort Scott National Historic Site,

Fri. 6:30-9pm, Sat. 5-9pm, advance tickets required.

· Crooner’s Outdoor Patio decorated for Holiday photo opportunities,

Open to the public all weekend, enter through door to patio on Main St., Fri.-Sun.

· Outdoor Movies at Lowell Milken Park, 1 S. Main St., 6pm until over

Rudolph ~ Frosty the Snowman ~ How the Grinch Stole Christmas

· Live Music by Holly Crays 6:30-7:30pm & Morgan Rohr 8-9pm, Heritage Park Pavilion

Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

· Christmas Karaoke at Sharky’s North Pole, 16 N. National Ave., 9pm-1am, $5 cover
