46th Annual Karate Tournament in Pittsburg

The Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg, Kansas will be hosting their 46^th annual karate tournament and seminars on April 28-30, 2023.  A karate tournament will be held on Saturday, April 29th at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse in Pittsburg, Kansas.  This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 150-200 competitors from the Midwest and Canada competing in kata (forms), kumite (sparring), kobudo (okinawan weapons), and batto (Japanese sword).  The tournament begins at 9:30 and is open to the public. There is no admission fee for spectators.
