CANCELED: General Election Candidate Forum hosted by the Chamber

Join the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce for the 2026 General Election Candidate Forum on Wednesday, October 14, at the Empress Event Center in Downtown Fort Scott.

📍 Empress Event Center, 17 S. Main St.
🕠 Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a candidate Meet & Greet
🕕 Forum begins at 6 p.m.

Meet the candidates and hear their perspectives on issues important to area voters. The moderated forum will feature federal, state, and local races, with opportunities for candidates to introduce themselves and respond to questions.

The public is invited to submit questions to communications@fortscott.com by 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 13. Questions will not be shared with candidates before the forum.

🎥 The forum will also be livestreamed on the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

Entrances are available at both the front and back of the event center.
