Master Artist Water Color Class with Sheila Jones at The Artificers

In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of watercolor, color mixing, tonal value studies, focal point of the composition: the art of arranging, organizing, and combining ingredients to compose a pleasing painting. We will be studying the foreground, the middle ground, and the background in the painting.

Supply List:
Students are welcome to bring their own water paint set ( it can be from a Daniel Smith set to Masters Touch or anything you can purchase locally, inexpensive will work fine).

Strathmore cold press watercolor paper or even a watercolor paper purchased locally.

One set of watercolor pencils ( inexpensive). Students will need these pencils to help with drawing onto the paper to capture their sketch.

Watercolor brushes, bring 3-5 brushes, ( Sheila uses Fuumuul brushes, which can be found on Amazon) #4 flat brush, #16flat, #12 round, #4 round, and #1 detail brush.

Aprons, Masking Tape, Dryers, Spray Bottles will be provided at The Teaching Studio at The Artificers!
