Walk Kansas 2022
Walk Kansas is a team-based health initiative program that will inspire you to lead a healthier life by being more active and making better nutrition choices. You are part of a six-member team which selects a goal and supports one another in reaching that goal during this 8-week healthy lifestyle challenge. If you don’t have a team, we can assign you to one or you can fly solo!
What you gain from Walk Kansas:
• Weekly newsletters filled with motivational healthy lifestyle information, resources, and recipes
• Support in working towards leading a healthier life, including support gained from your teammates and exclusive membership in a closed Walk Kansas Facebook group;
• The opportunity to get connected with classes,
programs, and events being hosted by Southwind
District agents; and
• You will qualify for HealthQuest credits if you are a State of Kansas employee participating in this program!
The cost to participate is $10 per adult. Youth and State of Kansas employees can participate for free.To register, people can visit WalkKansasOnline.org or stop by the Bourbon County Extension Office (210 S National in Fort Scott) to pick up a paper registration packet.The deadline to register is March 26th, and the program runs from March 27th to May 21st.Date and Time
