Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg, Kansas

The Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai of Pittsburg, Kansas will be hosting their 47th annual karate tournament and seminars April 26-28, 2024. A karate tournament will be held on Saturday, April 27th at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse in Pittsburg, Kansas. This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 125-150 competitors regionally and throughout the United States competing in kata (forms), kumite (sparring), kobudo (okinawan weapons), and batto (Japanese sword). The tournament begins at 9:30 and is open to the public. There is no admission fee for spectators.
