The Spyder Story

For years the insurance, financial services industry, and producers have struggled to maintain compliance with all of the disparate cyber and device security regulations, storage needs, and licenses and continuing education requirements. Spyder closes the loop on these challenges by connecting the front end licensee database to the back end home office. We simplify achieving cyber and licensing compliance, connect producers to their appointed firms, and ease onboarding with new firms in a paperless, automated way.

In 2021, we combined our experience of solutioning, compliance, and technology together to launch an eCommerce portal that makes your job of selling, growing, and managing your business easier. We are a female-founded business whose leaders offer deep fintech experience, both designing software and growing companies. We are passionate about our products and what we can do for your business. We believe that we can improve the lives of our clients, our employees, and our community by serving them in the highest level of regard. We are a mission-driven firm striving to open new opportunities for others. Our mission is to use technology to reimagine legacy processes within the insurance and financial services industry while building a business that helps rural southeast Kansas. For this reason, Spyder is headquartered in Fort Scott, Kansas, the hometown of Co-founder Nedra Barr.
